As I write this post, my bags are packed and sitting by the front door. It’s time for vacation! We are headed out first thing in the morning; and we plan to enjoy a week at the coast. After everything that’s gone on in the past few months, we definitely need this time of relaxation.
When I return, I will have new posts. I’m currently loving the Michael Todd skin care line and do a review on the pumpkin masque. I’ll also be posting a dupe I found for my favorite makeup brush.
I hope you all have a good week! Here’s a visual of where I’ll be hanging out this week.
I’m such a horrible blogger! Between work projects, roof leaks, master bathroom flooding (that’s a whole other post) and fighting a multiple sclerosis flare up…I’ve been quite busy. It’s left little to no time for blogging. However, I wanted to let you all in to the more personal side of my life.
I don’t talk about it often, but I have MS. I’ve filmed a 3 part series on my life with MS and I wanted to share. Being sick can be such a lonely feeling; so, talking about it and getting it out in the open has been very therapeutic for me. Maybe it will help someone else, maybe not. But, I just wanted to share.
See below for part 1 and stay tuned for parts 2 and 3.
I wish I could say I was! I sit and watch Youtube videos for hours sometimes and I am amazed at the people who can put together a flawless video with no mistakes and no editing. That being said, I am DEFINITELY not one of those people. I flub my words all the time, get tongue-tied, space out and just plain ol’ act silly. I decided to put together a compilation of a few of my many blooper moments…hopefully you will get a kick out of them!

I hope you all had a fabulous May and are embracing what the month of June brings ahead. My life has been extremely hectic as of late. Most of it has been a pretty great hectic, but there has been some bad in the mix. I’m not one to dwell on the bad in life, but it’s life…it’s not always going to be rainbows and gumdrops. What I strive for when things are going less than great, is to dwell on all the amazing things in my life. So, that’s what this post is about. I’ve been so blessed with wonderful friends, family, a career and experiences, that it all trumps the blah. Below are just a few of the snippets of all the good going on in my life lately:
Camping trips and catching fish
Look at that gorgeous lake view!! How can one stress when surrounded by this?
Snuggling with this cutie…he makes me smile!
New makeup all the way from across the pond! My friend brought this makeup back for me from London!!
Lastly, this guy. The love of my life and my best friend…he makes all okay in my life. It seems like with him by my side, I can conquer any obstacle in my way.
So, that’s it for now. In the midst of bad and blah, I must always remember the good. There is always good to be found.

I hope you are enjoying this beautiful Spring! I recently received my May Birchbox and I’ve posted a video below. In that video I discuss one of my goals to achieve. I would like to reach 75 subscribers by the end of June. To me this seems reachable, but I need help! If you like my videos, chances are you know some people who would like them, too. If I reach my goal of 75 subscribers by the end of June, I will giveaway a three month subscription to Birchbox. Thanks to all those who have already subscribed and continue to support my little hobby! It is much appreciated.
