Time for R&R

As I write this post, my bags are packed and sitting by the front door. It’s time for vacation! We are headed out first thing in the morning; and we plan to enjoy a week at the coast. After everything that’s gone on in the past few months, we definitely need this time of relaxation.

When I return, I will have new posts. I’m currently loving the Michael Todd skin care line and do a review on the pumpkin masque. I’ll also be posting a dupe I found for my favorite makeup brush.

I hope you all have a good week! Here’s a visual of where I’ll be hanging out this week.

Have a great week!

My Journey with Multiple Sclerosis Pt. 1

Hi guys,

I’m such a horrible blogger! Between work projects, roof leaks, master bathroom flooding (that’s a whole other post) and fighting a multiple sclerosis flare up…I’ve been quite busy. It’s left little to no time for blogging. However, I wanted to let you all in to the more personal side of my life.

I don’t talk about it often, but I have MS. I’ve filmed a 3 part series on my life with MS and I wanted to share. Being sick can be such a lonely feeling; so, talking about it and getting it out in the open has been very therapeutic for me. Maybe it will help someone else, maybe not. But, I just wanted to share.

See below for part 1 and stay tuned for parts 2 and 3.

Much Love,

Jess

30 for 30 Outfit Challenge Pt. 1

Good Morning,

Over the past few weeks, I have read blog after blog mentioning the 30 for 30 outfit challenge. Basically, the premise of the challenge is to create 30 different outfits with 30 articles of clothing, accessories and shoes. I am taking on the challenge to simply explore my closet. How many times have we all walked into our closet and said “I have nothing to wear!” when in actuality, we have so much. The goals I hope to reach in this challenge are as follows:

*Find my style
*Create 30 different outfits that may take me out of my comfort zone
*Allow me to understand where my wardrobe is lacking

These are the rules I have set in place for me (there are no set guidlines, so if this is something you want to do…do it however you want!):

*I must create 30 outfits for 5 work days a week- this will take me 6 weeks to complete.
*I can only use the 30 items I have set aside

That’s it…should be simple, right?! We shall see.

Stay tuned for post 2… I will post pictures of all 30 items.

Much love,

Jess
